With our Retained Health and Safety Advisor Service, you can name us as your retained Safety Advisors or ‘Competent Persons’ who help and assist you to fulfill your statutory duties under Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. As a member of our Retained Health and Safety Advisor Service, you can also contact Your Safety Advisor Ltd at any time, with regards to any general health and safety advice and support on any health and safety issues that may be affecting your company or its employees.
We effectively become an integral part of your team and can assist you with all aspects of health and safety, including the provision of general safety advice, guidance on training requirements, help with the preparation of health and safety documentation. Our CDM Construction Phase Plan (CPP) is a bespoke document that we prepare specifically for you for use on your project. We do the hard work for you and prepare a comprehensive Construction Phase Plan, in accordance with the HSE and your clients requirements. This is the easiest way for you to comply with your duties under CDM regarding the provision of the Construction Phase Plan. This service is for low risk, Non-Notifiable Works under CDM and the completed Construction Phase Plan will be emailed to you as a PDF document.
If your project is classed as being a ‘Notifiable’ project under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, then we also offer a more comprehensive service to prepare your Construction Phase Plan for this as well. Further information can be found by clicking here.
CDM Construction Phase Plan for Notifiable Works£275.00
For this service we prepare a bespoke CDM Construction Phase Plan (CPP) for use on your specific project. The Construction Phase Plan will be prepared in accordance with our standard templates and take into account the project requirements. This service enables you quickly and easily comply with your duties under CDM regarding the provision of the Construction Phase Plan. This service is for a Notifiable Project as defined in the CDM Regulations. The completed Construction Phase Plan will be emailed to you as a PDF document for ease of onward transmission to your client and supply chain etc.

CDM Construction Phase Plan (CPP) for Large Projects£450.00
For this service we prepare a bespoke CDM Construction Phase Plan (CPP) for use on larger notifiable projects, with a contract value of up to £2.5M. The CDM Construction Phase Plan will be prepared in accordance with our standard templates and take into account the project requirements. This service enables you quickly and easily comply with your duties under CDM regarding the provision of the Construction Phase Plan. This service is for a Notifiable Project as defined in the CDM Regulations. The completed Construction Phase Plan will be emailed to you as a PDF document.
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations require Hazardous Substances COSHH Assessments to be completed for the use and handling of all substances which are potentially hazardous to the health of any person. Your Safety Advisor Ltd is able to prepare a specific COSHH Assessment on your behalf, based on the information that you provide us. This should include the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and information about how and where the product is to be used. The cost of “each COSHH Assessment” is just £45.00 plus VAT and the completed COSHH Assessments will be emailed to you as a PDF document. Please note that separate COSHH Assessments are needed for each hazardous product used.

Our Risk Assessment writing service is for the preparation of a single Risk Assessment for a single task/activity. We prepare the risk assessment for you based on the information provided and then email the completed risk assessment to you as a secure PDF document. We can also provide the key Safety Documentation that you need as a company to support your application. As part of our service we not only complete the PQQ on your behalf, we also act as your retained Competent Health and Safety Advisors and even develop the Health and Safety Documentation that you legally need when tendering for such contracts and completing PQQ’s/Safety questionnaires. Furthermore we can also provide your staff with quick and easy to complete online health and safety training courses, which enable you to demonstrate the training provided to your staff.

Noise Risk Assessment (Single)£45.00
Noise Risk Assessment – based on the information you provide, we will prepare a noise risk assessment including recommended actions that need to be taken (where applicable) to reduce and control the level of noise exposure. This assessment is intended for those working on building and/or construction sites using mobile plant, tools and other noise generating equipment/activities etc. The noise risk assessment will take account of the equipment used/process being undertaken, the environment and the persons likely to be affected by the noise. The completed Noise Risk Assessment will be emailed to you as a PDF document.
Principal Designer (CDM)
Under the CDM Regulations, the client is legally required to appoint a Principal Designer. This is usually the lead Architect, Engineer or Surveyor on the project and in some instances, particularly with smaller practices, those appointed as the Principal Designer may lack some of the Health and Safety knowledge or experience needed to allow them to satisfy the legal requirements of the CDM Regulations. Also some practices appointed as the Principal Designer may not want to carry out the role and will look to sub-contract the duties, whilst still being appointed to the role by the client.
