Oliver has over 25 years experience in construction and health & safety. His in depth knowledge and skills have helped thousands of satisfied contractors manage and develop their businesses. Unlike many 'Safety Advisors', Oliver is uniquely qualified and experienced to work with and support contractors and others working in the construction industry. For example, in addition to being a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner (CMIOSH), Oliver is also a Chartered Civil Engineer (MICE) and a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager (CEnv CWEM). Oliver also has an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering and is NEBOSH Diploma qualified, as well as holding various other qualifications. The essential requirement of Competence is easily demonstrated, can you say that about your existing suppliers of Competent Health and Safety advice? Furthermore, unlike many of his contemporaries, he has direct first hand experience of working on construction sites as a Site Engineer, as well as extensive 'Design Office' experience. This experience, together with Oliver's enthusiasm and attention to detail means that his expertise has been valued by companies small and large across the UK, he was even appointed as a specialist inspector by the Isle of Man Health and Safety Inspectorate, the equivalent of the UK's HSE. In 2004, Oliver was ahead of the pack and set-up one of the first online Health and Safety Consultancies, which provided Health and Safety Services, direct to its growing client base across the UK. During this time he worked with a wide range of tradesmen and contractors, helping them with all aspects of Health and Safety. This included the preparation of Health and Safety Documentation, general Safety Advice and guidance on anything Health and Safety related. In 2016, some 12 years after launching his highly successful consultancy business, it was taken over and relocated to Birmingham. Since that take over, Oliver has re-established his presence and relaunched as 'Your Safety Advisor Ltd', capitalising on his expert construction industry knowledge; experience and qualifications. At Your Safety Advisor Ltd, Oliver specialises in helping contractors and other tradesmen working in the construction industry to manage their day to day safety responsibilities. This includes assisting with the preparation of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, Noise Assessments, CDM Safety Plans, Health and Safety Policy's and Management Systems. He also helps contractors to complete Contractor Management/SSIP Assessment Schemes such as CHAS, SafeContractor, SMAS, Altius, ConstructionLine etc. Your Safety Advisor Ltd also uses Oliver's expertise to provide cost effective, innovative online training solutions for you and your staff.
