The ConstructionLine SSIP Safety Accreditation is often used by local authority clients and government Departments to pre-qualify contractors and suppliers for tender and approved supplier lists. Simply being ConstructionLine registered often allows companies to tender or bid for works/contracts with such clients.

A large part of the ConstructionLine SSIP Assessment covers Health and Safety aspects and these parts are closely aligned to the SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) Health and Safety Assessment.  But in addition to this, ConstructionLine also assesses other elements such Environmental; Financial; and Client References.

Your Safety Advisor Ltd can still work with you as Your Safety Advisor to help complete the assessment process and to ensure that you have all of the necessary Health and Safety Policies and Procedures; Safety Training; Environmental Arrangements and other aspects in place before completing your submission to ConstructionLine.

At Your Safety Advisor Ltd we help companies and tradesmen to simplify the ConstructionLine SSIP Safety Accreditation process by working to get you registered with ConstructionLine as quickly and simply as possible.  Due to the nature of this work, the costs will be quoted on a client by client basis based on what is already in place, some client will clearly have more in place than other clients.

The cost quoted here includes for Your Safety Advisor Ltd being appointed as your Retained Health and Safety Advisors and for the completion of the online ConstructionLine Safety Questionnaire.  You may already have all of the other documentation in place, but if you don’t, we can also help out in this respect.

As you probably already know, if you are not registered with the relevant SSIP scheme such as Constructionline, SMAS Worksafe, Acclaim, Altius, CHAS or SafeContractor etc, then you may find that certain clients will exclude you from their approved contractor and tender lists altogether.  This typically includes most Local Authorities, Schools/Colleges, NHS/Health Authorities,  Housing Associations and most Main Contractors.  ConstructionLine Accreditation can therefore immediately help to open up these opportunities.

Constructionline is one of the main and best known Health and Safety Pre-Qualification schemes.  ConstructionLine is a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) and as such is used by a wide variety of organisations to pre-qualify contractors for inclusion on tender lists and supplier frameworks.

However, for many businesses, particularly smaller companies and sole traders, pre-qualification schemes such as the ConstructionLine SSIP Accreditation can be a daunting, confusing and time-consuming prospect.  Whereas larger companies have the advantage of in-house Safety Advisors, this is not economically viable for smaller companies and as such our retained Health and Safety Advisor Service helps to level the playing field by enabling small companies and sole traders to have access to competent health and safety advice and support for a low monthly or annual fee.

As a Retained Health and Safety Advisor Service customer, our Safety Consultants can help to complete your Constructionline application at a fixed cost to enable you to become registered with ConstructionLine quickly and with the least possible amount of disturbance to your business.

We offer a fixed cost for this service and we guarantee you that no additional costs will be charged for our work.

Our ConstructionLine service will include:

  • Full unlimited support throughout the assessment process until your application has been approved.
  • Provision of our Retained Health and Safety Advisor Service for 12 months.
  • Completion of the following ConstructionLine Questionnaires:
    • Health and Safety
    • Environmental
    • Equal Opportunities Questionnaire
  • Uploading of  your supporting information and evidence.
  • We will help you to create all the documents and supporting evidence required, which will typically include:
    • Health & Safety Policy
    • Risk Assessments
    • Method Statements
    • CoSHH Assessments
    • Sub-Contractor Competence Assessments
    • Toolbox Talk
    • Health and Safety Training etc.
  • If you do not posses the above documents/evidence, we can prepare and supply you with the necessary documentation/safety training, but that would incur additional costs.

Unlike some other organisations providing a similar service, all applications will be completed by Your Safety Advisor Ltd using our own Chartered Health and Safety experts with ongoing safety support throughout the process until your application has been approved.  We do not use administrators/clerical staff or lowly qualified safety staff to carry out this work.
